Learn to kayak I
Whether you are looking to explore tranquil lakes or conquer some waves, kayaking is one way to do so, it’s also a pretty awesome sport to get into. In order to dip your toes into the world of kayaking, we will start from somewhere, and this course is perfectly designed for beginners.
You will learn efficient paddling technique, perform various strokes for maneuvering, and most importantly, how to have fun and stay safe on the water.
Cost: $99, includes:
- 2 hours of instruction with all gears (kayak, PFD, paddle)
- 2 hours of a single kayak rental
* You have to complete the 2 hours of instruction before using the 2 hours of rental, it can be used on the same day.
Learn to kayak II
After graduating the learn to kayak I and got some paddle sessions under your belt, you found yourself enjoy being on water, it’s time to sign up for this learn to kayak II. It’s designed for you to build more confidence on the water and learn essential techniques for handling different situations while kayaking. You will learn bracing, edging and sculling, so you will have a better control of you kayak. You will also learn the most import and useful rescue techniques, t-rescue and self-rescue.
Cost: $89 use your own kayak, or $119 if you need to rent one from us, includes:
- 3 hours of instruction
* We highly recommend taking Learn to kayak I or the equivalent experience.
Learn to kayak III
With solid flat water kayak skills on board, it’s time to apply them to the next level. This is course will focus on boat control and movement in the context of wind, swell and current. We will revisit the fundamentals of paddlesports and be introduced to different methods for rescues, launching and landing. Content is designed for paddlers who are new to ocean environments or are looking to improve their performance and personal safety.
Cost: $115 use your own kayak, or $155 if you need rent one from us, includes:
- 5 hours of instruction
* We highly recommend taking Learn to kayak I or the equivalent experience.
